Since 2017 I have specialised in mastering, mixing and sound design for music & film in the heart of Cologne. Over the last years, I've had the pleasure of refining music for international acts as well as independent artists and building long-term client relationships.
Preset? Set and forget? Every piece of music is an expression of the artist and should be treated as such.
The studio has a selected range of analogue hardware. High-End Mastering gear such as the Elysia Alpha Compressor and the Gyraf XIV Parallel Passive Equalizer can breathe ‘depth’ and ‘life’ into music.
I consider music mastering as a kind of ‘sound sculpting„: What should the music express? Are some areas overemphasised? Are there annoying resonances? Does the song have enough dynamics? Does the song have enough energy and punch? Does the stereo image match the music?
Military-Grade tube saturation with the Thermionic Culture Vulture Mastering Plus, real vintage tape sound from the Roland Space Echo RE-201, energetic sounds from the Orgon Systems Enigiser or complex modulations from the Anyware Instruments Tinysizer. The studio has a wide range of sound colours to deliver the highest quality standards for music and film.
